Gold Contact Connector System Ø 3.5 mm

The connectors with a 3.5 mm contact diameter are made from gold-plated brass. The gold plating enhances conductivity and corrosion resistance while reducing burn-off caused by frequent plugging and unplugging, thus extending the lifespan. With only 0.45 mOhm, the electrical resistance of the connector is very low, allowing for a short-term current load capacity of up to 50 A. To achieve this performance potential, the use of high-quality silicone cables with copper strands of 14 AWG or 2.5 mm² wire diameter is recommended.
