High capacity and low center of gravity for 1/10 offroad and touring cars

With the new 2026 specification of the MC4 series, Intellect once again raises the bar for shorty competition packs. The BL2S5000MC4 low center of gravity shorty was developed for racers who want maximum grip, a very stable voltage curve and a low center of gravity in a compact 2S format.

With a capacity of 5000mAh, this LiHV shorty pack offers extended runtime without adding unnecessary weight. The 120C discharge rating provides strong punch on throttle and keeps the voltage up throughout the whole run, even on high grip tracks and demanding layouts.

Thanks to state of the art silicon graphene cell technology, the pack features very low internal resistance, reduced heat build up and improved cycle life. As a LiHV pack it can be charged up to 4.35V per cell with a nominal voltage of 7.6 V, which results in a noticeable performance boost at the beginning of the race and consistent power delivery to the finish line.

Charging and storage instructions:

Never store your batteries fully charged and or fully discharged. We recommend to store the batteries at the nominal voltage of the battery. We also recommend to use the batteries regulary, if you don’t go to the track, then cycle them once every two weeks. The batteries must not be stored in direct sunlight, this also includes your car during a hot summer day. For a long lifetime of your batteries we recommend a charging rate of 1C. A higher charging rate will decrease the lifetime of your battery significantly.

Installation:

When installing you battery, we recommend not to place them directly next to your motor. Should it not be possible to place your battery at a different place we strongly recommend the use of a motor fan to keep your motor cool and so also your battery.
