Introducing the Fuzz Bite for the SCT trucks, the pin tire designed with radius positioning to enhance the drive on a range of surfaces.
The Fuzz Bite lands on a JConcepts SCT carcass carried over from already successful tires in the line-up. The SCT stance provides quick transition at high-speed and minimizes side-wall deflection and roll due to internal sidewall ribbing. The pin is specially built in a reverse “water tower” shape planting the larger base at the bottom and narrowing at the top for precision. The pins are placed in a radius and repeated about for a healthy nest of pins to dig deep into matting in office carpet or tight knit CRC carpeting.

The alternating rows of pins provides side-bite, and the tightness gives forward traction. The arrangement of the pins promotes good wear characteristics and traction longevity. The Fuzz Bite incorporates a small radial rib on the outside with angular cross to give consistent cornering but also forward mid-corner launch grip. Inside the carcass, heavy sidewall ribs on the outside help support heavy corning, allow to brace against the wheel and built to work in conjunction with included foam inserts.
A unique feature on the Fuzz Bite is the scalloped tire bead which removes a lot of weight from a normally beefy area. The tips of the bead touch off on the inner beads on the wheel which lead to a great alignment but now with reduced rotating weight. During the gluing process, it is also handy to have some breathing room for the glue process and the geometry gives many edges and ledges to adhere to.
The JConcepts tires include open cell, medium inserts for plush control. The SCT 3.0” x 2.2” bead mounting diameter fits to popular wheels like the #3344 Hazard wheels available in stealth black, bright white, and florescent yellow.
